EK-Consulting is an accounting firm on rue de l'Atelier in Tubize, Walloon Brabant, trading as EK-Compta and EK-Fisca. Accredited by the ITAA under number 50.341.683, it was founded in 2010 by Geoffrey Knappenbergh and Jérémy Eeckhout, who still run it. A team of four qualified staff works on client files alongside them. The firm is active in the Tubize, Rebecq and Brussels areas and is open Monday to Thursday from 9.00 to 17.30, and until 15.30 on Fridays.

The firm presents itself as a 100% online office. Clients upload their documents and follow their finances in real time on a platform, with no travel and no piles of paper, which lets the firm work with clients across Belgium. Accounting services cover bookkeeping on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, depreciation schedules, statutory journals and inventories, preparation of the trial balance, income statement and annual accounts, and drafting the reports required by law. For specific needs, the firm designs tailored solutions.

Tax services include VAT returns and periodic listings, preparing personal and corporate income tax returns, calculating and monitoring advance tax payments, handling payroll withholding tax and representing clients during tax audits. Administrative services cover business plans, company formation and registration with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, detailed budgets, advice on obtaining credit, and management training at basic or advanced level.

On tools, the firm uses Falco, the app developed by Horus for self-employed people and SMEs, combining invoicing, cash monitoring, document collection and sharing, and messaging with the accountant. It also relies on TwinnTax, which automates recurring tasks: retrieving tax documents from MyMinFin, managing returns and producing directors' pay slips.

Fees are published. The self-employed package, covering bookkeeping suited to the business, VAT and tax returns and access to the tools, starts at 85 euros a month excluding VAT. The company package, which adds annual accounts, balance sheets and strategic advice, starts at 185 euros a month excluding VAT. Company formation, business registration, business plans and budgets are priced individually.
