By accessing or using the AccountMap platform at accountmap.be, you agree to be bound by these terms of use. If you do not accept any part of these terms, you may not use our platform.

2. Description of the service

AccountMap is an online directory and marketplace that connects businesses with certified accountants, tax accountants, tax advisors, statutory auditors and accounting firms. We provide a platform to discover, compare and contact accounting professionals throughout Belgium.

3. User accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

4. Firm profiles

If you sign up as a firm, you agree that:

  • All the information in your profile is accurate, up to date and not misleading.
  • You are authorised to represent the firm you are listing.
  • You will keep the information in your profile up to date.
  • AccountMap may enrich your profile from publicly available information on your website in order to improve its visibility.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes
  • Extract, crawl or automatically harvest data from the platform without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Submit false, misleading or unwanted content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
  • Disrupt or interfere with the operation of the platform or its servers

6. Intellectual property

All AccountMap content, including text, graphics, logos and software, is the property of AccountMap or of its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property law. Content submitted by firms remains the property of those firms.

7. News and articles

The news articles displayed on our platform are curated summaries of content from third-party sources. We always credit the original source and invite users to read the full articles on the original publications. We claim no ownership over third-party content.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or reliability of firm profiles or of the content on the platform.

9. Limitation of liability

AccountMap cannot be held liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including, without limitation, business transactions initiated through firm contact forms.

10. Changes

We reserve the right to change these terms of use at any time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Continuing to use the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian law. Any dispute arising from these terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings are started.
