Service et Gestion is an accounting firm on rue Jean Gol in Liège, directly opposite Guillemins station. It has supported clients with their accounting and tax obligations since 1983 and now counts more than 300 clients in many sectors. The company is registered with the ITAA under number 50.717.660. The office can be reached Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, except on Wednesdays when the team works behind closed doors, and appointments can be booked online.
In 2018, Nathalie George, a certified tax accountant since 1999, took over the management of the firm, succeeding Yves Matz, whom she had joined in November 2012. She is supported by three staff: Jérémy Tombeur, who joined in 2026 and handles company and personal income tax files under her supervision, Christel Moray, who specialises in data entry and file preparation and also follows company and personal tax files, and Lidwine Carpiaux, whose profile is that of an accounting secretary.
For people with a business project, the office offers a free first consultation with no commitment. It draws up a business plan to check the project's viability, advises on choosing between working as an individual or through a company, completes the administrative formalities for starting out and helps avoid missteps and poor decisions at launch.
Bookkeeping covers recording purchases, sales, financial documents, salaries and miscellaneous transactions, as well as periodic VAT returns. After each VAT return, clients receive an analysis of their quarterly position. The firm carries out regular balance sheet analysis, sends customer and supplier histories to track cash flow, provides monthly or quarterly dashboards and prepares interim statements to calculate advance tax payments and social contributions. Since 2021, digitisation lets clients upload invoices as they arrive on the Billtobox platform, so meetings at the office or by video can focus on advice.
On tax, the office handles every return from A to Z: employees, self-employed people, companies and non-profits, with the required schedules and optimisation of the client's position. It also takes care of payroll withholding tax returns for company directors, withholding tax on investment income and the calculation of the asset tax for non-profits, and defends clients before the tax authorities. The team trains continuously on company car tax, property tax, VAT and tax law.
Advice is tailored to each business: growth and financing needs, temporary difficulties, incorporation, partnering with others and drafting shareholder agreements, or restructuring after analysing the financial position and organisation. A newsletter covers practical topics, such as paying social contributions before year-end or the new rules for VAT credit refunds.
