MFinances is an accounting firm on rue de la Magnanerie in Uccle, in the south of Brussels. The firm is registered with the ITAA under number 50.624.805. Its founder, an accountant who graduated from the Belgian Chamber of Accountants, claims more than twenty years of experience in Brussels. Its positioning is stated clearly: giving very small businesses and SMEs the financial management tools of large companies, at a price suited to their size.

The about page tells the origin of this approach: a young client whose turnover tripled in a year, but whose cash position was quietly weakening, and who was saved only by management control set up in a hurry during Covid. The firm draws a conviction from this: growing businesses need financial steering precisely when they think they are too small for it. It sets out four principles: readable figures, rigorous bookkeeping, anticipating risks and a single contact person.

Prices are published. The offer comes in four monthly packages: Basic from 275 euros, Essentiel from 350 euros, Premium from 450 euros and Excellence from 650 euros. The common base includes full bookkeeping, VAT returns and annual accounts. Bookkeeping is done in Odoo, in real time and without re-entry, with cost accounting by activity, project or cost centre available, although the firm says it adapts to other tools.

Higher packages add management control: an annual budget built with the client, quarterly or monthly statements compared with the budget, variance analysis and five key indicators, including margin, working capital requirement, customer payment terms and break-even point. The Excellence package includes a cash flow forecast updated monthly on actual data, with scenarios and an alert eight weeks before a squeeze, and gives access to an outsourced CFO at 150 euros per hour excluding VAT, for modelling decisions, bank files and financial negotiations.

On tax, the firm handles corporate income tax, personal income tax, withholding taxes and VAT. It calibrates directors' pay and dividends, uses the VVPRbis regime, the liquidation reserve and the investment deduction, and plans ahead for wealth matters. It prepares clients for tax audits and represents them, and offers tax legal protection insurance through a partnership with an insurer.

Business creation is offered at a fixed fee of 800 euros excluding VAT: financial plan with forecast profit and loss, cash flow and break-even point, a reasoned choice of legal form, coordination with the notary, business one-stop shop and authorities, and bookkeeping set up in Odoo from day one. The website also targets the self-employed, retail and hospitality, health professions, property developers, management companies and non-profits, and offers free tools such as an online financial diagnosis.
