BONNE FIDUCIAIRE

Bonne Fiduciaire is a family-run accounting firm on Emiel Lossystraat in Sint-Amandsberg, in the east of Ghent. It was founded on 7 January 1983 by André Bonne, with the aim of helping entrepreneurs in the Ghent region run their business and meet their tax and accounting obligations. The company is registered with the ITAA under number 50.181.635. From the start, it served self-employed people, private individuals, associations and SMEs.

More than forty years later, the office highlights a long-standing relationship of trust with its clients. It has expanded its activities and now has 14 trained staff, working for clients throughout the country. The office is open on weekdays from 8 am to 12.30 pm and from 1 pm to 6 pm, until 5 pm on Fridays, and appointments outside these hours are possible on request by phone.

The internal organisation follows a fixed structure. After an initial exploratory meeting with one of the managers, the file is assigned to a dedicated staff member. This person handles the preparatory work at start-up, the activation of the enterprise and VAT numbers and, throughout the life of the business, the preparation of VAT returns, the profit and loss account, personal income tax, the balance sheet and corporate income tax. Each file is then discussed with a file manager, who carries out the final check and completion in consultation with the managers.

For bookkeeping, Bonne Fiduciaire processes incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements and other financial administration. It prepares periodic VAT returns, intrastat declarations and the annual listing, prepares the year-end closing and files the annual accounts with the Central Balance Sheet Office. It also handles changes at the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, legal publications and reports, and prepares financing applications and replacement investments.

Tax returns are handled personally by the staff: completing the forms, checking and updating the previous year's data, and dealing with tax objections and requests for information, including their defence. The office advises on corporate income tax, personal income tax and VAT, helps identify all possible deductions and optimise business expenses, and informs clients of changes in tax legislation.

Start-ups receive free first-line advice, subject to conditions, and support with incorporation formalities: registration with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, activation of the VAT number and preparation of the financial plan. Management advice covers the deductibility of business expenses, the choice between a company and a sole proprietorship, setting up an association, administrative assistance with contracts, agreements and insurance, and planning replacement investments in line with the company's future needs.
