GE-FIBO

Ge-Fibo is an accounting and tax office in Brasschaat, with a second office in Schoten, in the Antwerp area. Its motto promises tax and bookkeeping from A to beyond Z for one fixed price. The office rejects hourly billing and settles the whole file at a rate agreed in advance. It puts forward four arguments, namely this fixed rate, personal contact, digitalisation and a team of experts, and aims through proactive advice to be more than a bookkeeper.

All entrepreneurs are welcome, from small sole traders or private limited companies to well-established SMEs, and liberal professions and organisations also find their way to the office. Clients choose what to entrust to it: full accounting processing, support with books they keep themselves, or only the preparation of annual accounts and their legal annexes. The package is tailored. Ge-Fibo goes from entering invoices to the final balance sheet and provides close monitoring of the company's indicators, in order to flag problems in time and propose concrete solutions.

Start-up support is a full service in its own right. The office details the steps: current account, registration with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises, membership of a social insurance fund, VAT registration, permits, and articles of association through the notary for a company. It compares the advantages of a sole proprietorship and a company, helps with the financial plan and carries out the formalities. A partnership with Xerius and direct access to its online system allow it to arrange almost everything at the office, so clients do not have to run from one body to another. Takeovers and transfers are also supported, and the first meeting is free and without obligation.

Payroll runs through a collaboration with SD Worx, which analyses the payroll administration and processes it each month, with a fixed contact person for pay, contracts and documents, and answers to social and legal questions. The office presents this collaboration as a complete package of pay and tax advice and specifies that returns are completed and filed on time.

Digitalisation has its own department, called Difibo. Ge-Fibo believes digital is the future of the sector and wants entrepreneurs to focus on turnover rather than bookkeeping. Difibo provides online tools to run all administration and bookkeeping, notably with Yuki. It is enough to supply documents at regular intervals to see the current financial position, always at a fixed price. The office also says it helps define and carry out a forward-looking strategy.

The website publishes client cases. One presents Geroba, a maker of corten steel products, whose collaboration with the office relies on Yuki. A blog covers practical topics, such as company car taxation and the reimbursement of charging costs for electric vehicles.
