Bureau Comptable MARCHAL Amélien

Bureau Comptable Marchal Amélien, or BCMA, is a chartered accounting firm accredited by the ITAA under number 50.200.227. It was founded in 2011 by Amélien Marchal, a certified chartered accountant, and has two offices in the province of Namur: on rue de Rochefort in Beauraing and on rue des Witays in Bièvre. It works mainly in that area, but also elsewhere in Wallonia thanks to digital tools. The firm presents itself as a local practice and likes to compare the entrepreneur to the pilot of a plane, with the firm as the crew.

The team includes two certified chartered accountants, among them Elsa Goire, who meets new clients at a free first appointment, prepares liquidation reports and handles SESAM hiring-aid files. Several file managers divide clients by sector: companies in healthcare and allied health, restaurants and construction. A secretary schedules appointments and helps clients connect to the Peppol network. The firm works with a partner statutory auditor for company formations and liquidations.

For business formation, BCMA analyses the project and its viability, advises on choosing between operating as an individual or a company, prepares the financial plan, supports administrative steps and registration with the relevant bodies, and advises on tax and social security status. It takes on full-time and part-time self-employed people, liberal professions and directors of private limited companies.

In accounting, the firm provides full bookkeeping, entry and tracking of documents, preparation of annual accounts and filing with the National Bank, and regular monitoring of the financial position. On tax, it prepares and files personal and corporate income tax returns, VAT returns and periodic obligations, looks for legal optimisation and supports clients during tax audits. It also prepares returns for private individuals.

The e-invoicing service helps choose invoicing software, set up electronic invoices, organise digital administrative flows and automate certain tasks; the firm works with Billtobox and Accountable among others. In company law, it handles incorporation, drafting and amending articles of association, moving the registered office, capital increases or reductions, partners joining or leaving, appointing or removing directors and company conversions. The management service analyses results as a steering tool, and the firm advises on the social security status of the self-employed; for employment law, it relies on partners.

The first appointment is free and is used to present the working method and fees, which depend on volume, activity and structure. Clients can switch accountants at any time: BCMA then retrieves the permanent file from the previous accountant.
