ACCF, short for Audit et Conseils en Comptabilité et Fiscalité, is a chartered accounting and tax advisory firm on rue Joseph Toisoul in La Louvière, housed in the former municipal swimming pool near the main square, with parking opposite the offices. Its members are registered with the ITAA. The firm has three people and aims to lighten the management burden on its clients so they can focus calmly on their profession. It receives clients Monday to Friday, Thursdays by appointment only, and can also travel to clients or meet by video call.

The first area is business formation and development. ACCF works out with the client the most suitable legal form, whether self-employed, a private limited company, cooperative, public limited company, partnership, limited partnership or non-profit, and helps with the formalities. It only recommends incorporation when it is necessary. It prepares the initial or development financial plan, chooses the right VAT regime with the client and handles registration, estimates social security contributions as accurately as possible and advises on the most suitable financing. The firm says it takes special care of start-ups, so they are in control from the outset and avoid unpleasant surprises.

In accounting, clients submit documents on paper or electronically via a secure platform, and the firm does the rest. ACCF offers Codabox, which sends it an electronic copy of business bank statements every day, so clients no longer need to print them. Clients also have access to Billtobox and a FID-Manager portal. The firm determines the result, calculates advance tax payments on time, provides the information needed to obtain an investment loan and, for companies, prepares and files the annual accounts with the National Bank and handles statutory publications. It optimises current and future directors' pay and prepares financial plans at each important stage of growth.

On tax, ACCF prepares each VAT statement before the deadline and tells the client the balance to pay or reclaim. Throughout the year, it estimates upcoming tax so that the right decisions are taken in time, and advises on advance payments. Its argument: a business making money this year will only file its return next year, but its owner wants to know now what is really available.

Fees work on an instalment and settlement basis: an estimated annual cost is agreed at the first meeting, invoiced monthly in twelfths, followed at year-end by a balancing invoice with a list of the work done. Amounts depend on the number of invoices and statements, the number of staff and the characteristics of the business; other services are charged at a flat rate or an hourly rate aligned with the reference rates of a professional organisation in the sector.
