PROXI-FISC

Proxi-Fisc is an accounting practice on Rue des Lovières in Chastre, Walloon Brabant, with a second location in Marche-en-Famenne. The office describes itself as a small, human-scale structure of three staff, all certified accountants. That make-up is information in itself: in many practices of this size only one professional is accredited and the others are file managers.

The first area is accounting expertise, set out precisely: organising the books, reviewing and closing the accounts, preparing the annual accounts, reporting, interim statements and digitalisation. A word on what three chartered accountants in a three-person office implies. In most practices that second profile is the majority, which is entirely legitimate but means the client rarely speaks to a principal. Here the structure leaves no such possibility: whoever the contact, it is an accredited professional who answers. On a technical file or during an audit, the difference is felt immediately.

The dual location, between Walloon Brabant and the province of Luxembourg, spans two very different areas: a dense suburban zone south of Brussels and a rural region where well-equipped practices are scarcer. For a self-employed person or a small company in either area, the appeal lies in combining a small structure, where you speak to an accredited professional, with a range running from day-to-day bookkeeping to defence during an audit.
