FISCONAM

Fisconam is an accounting and tax firm at number 30 rue Bajart Binamé in Bois-de-Villers, in the municipality of Profondeville, about fifteen kilometres from Namur. The company is approved by the ITAA under number 50.453.235 and has been in its current offices since 2018. It presents itself as a partner for today and tomorrow, supporting clients from the start of their project to its completion, then in following up their business. Its clients come from various sectors. The secretariat is open on weekdays and meetings are held by appointment only.

The founder first worked for five years as an in-house accountant at a large American company, where she handled internal control, management and cash planning, financial reporting and the introduction of automated procedures. She then worked in several accounting firms before launching her own office in the Namur area. The firm draws from this background a dual view of the business, from the inside and the outside. It highlights trust, competence, quality and respect, follows regular training and seminars, and works with tax lawyers, auditors, notaries and bankers.

In accounting, Fisconam works for self-employed people trading in their own name as well as for companies. It keeps digital, accessible and up-to-date accounts. As an option, it posts entries directly in the company's own software, giving the client and its team regular access to current figures. It can also supervise the books kept by the client and its accounting department, with suggestions to improve posting and procedures. It closes the annual accounts in its own system or in the client's.

On the tax side, the firm handles the regular formalities: VAT returns, income tax returns, the customer listing, tax slips and payroll withholding tax returns. It regularly shares news and changes, gives tax, organisational, investment and financing advice, and calculates and monitors advance tax payments and adjustments to social security contributions. It also answers questions from people starting out as self-employed, setting up a business or considering incorporation.

Services are à la carte: clients choose the services and how often they are provided. The firm helps write a business plan, present a file to the bank, put together an investment project or a grant application, and set up procedures, internal control and process automation. It builds financial dashboards to track the business, anticipate and adapt. The firm has developed digital tools that allow fully remote collaboration, while keeping its door open to entrepreneurs who prefer paper.
