Fisca M@x

Fisca M@x is an accounting and tax office approved by the ITAA, located in the Vaux-Chavanne business park in the municipality of Manhay. It presents itself as an office of the Lierneux, Manhay and Seraing area. Its reach goes further, however: the team says it travels throughout the province of Liège, from Liège to Malmedy and from Hannut to Spa, and in the north of the province of Luxembourg, from Vielsalm to Bastogne. These visits are part of its offer, so clients do not have to come to the office.

The office openly takes a generalist position. Its clients are mainly small and medium-sized companies, the self-employed, craftspeople, shopkeepers, liberal professions and non-profit organisations, active in many economic fields. The office sees this diversity as an asset: when a new client arrives, a similar situation has probably been dealt with before. Twelve people appear on the team page, including managers, partners and staff.

Bookkeeping can be done at the offices of Fisca M@x or alongside the client, who enters data under supervision or review. In both cases the office commits to precise work and monitoring of administrative and legal obligations. It prepares balance sheets, income statements and annual accounts for publication with the National Bank, as well as interim statements on request. Monthly or quarterly VAT returns and the annual listing are part of the service.

On the tax side, it drafts and sends returns for individuals, companies and non-profit organisations. Each return comes with a forecast tax calculation. The office also defends clients' interests during VAT and tax audits.

Starting a business receives full support: financial plan, deed of incorporation at the notary of the client's choice, reports on contributions and quasi-contributions with a company auditor, business counter, registration with a social insurance fund and VAT registration. The office also handles registration and approval for building trades, and the drafting and publication in the Official Gazette of deeds that do not require a notary.

Other assignments concern financing and the life of the business: support with banks and the Participation Fund, applications for grants and subsidies from the Walloon Region, takeover or transfer of a business or goodwill, and liquidation. The office also carries out special assignments for fellow professionals, such as reports on the liquidation or conversion of a company. The team trains regularly, and the website gathers practical links, notably on site declarations and rent indexation.
