FINATIEQ OOSTKAMP

Finatieq is a firm of accountants and tax advisers at number 34 Hertsbergsestraat in Oostkamp, near Bruges. In August 2024 it opened a second office in Roeselare, on Westlaan. The Oostkamp office is an accounting company recognised by the ITAA under number 50.818.805. The firm first operated under another name, took the name Impaccta Accountants & Advisors in 2023 and became Finatieq in 2025. It sums up its approach in one line: hard on figures, with a heart for entrepreneurs.

The team has more than ten people. It is led by Tom, a certified tax accountant, and Pieter, a certified tax adviser who joined as a partner in 2024. Koen, also a certified tax accountant, runs the Oostkamp office, and the other staff are file managers or ITAA trainees. After a free intake meeting, each new client is assigned a personal file manager. The firm promises an answer to questions and emails within 48 hours and aims to be approachable: for a quick question you can call, email or walk in without an appointment, including to drop off or collect documents.

In accounting, Finatieq posts or reviews its clients' books, prepares interim results and reports with clear income statements and balance sheets, draws up the annual accounts and takes over part of the administrative work. It wants entrepreneurs to know throughout the year where their business stands, rather than discovering their figures once a year. Documents can be submitted entirely digitally: clients mention on the website that everything can be handled through Billtobox and email.

The tax side covers tax optimisation, VAT returns, personal income tax, corporate and legal entities tax, tax advice and defence during tax audits. The firm helps clients meet their obligations while making use of the options to reduce their tax burden. It also prepares pay slips and the related returns, and handles contracts, the dissolution and liquidation of companies and support in the event of bankruptcy.

The firm stresses its advisory role. It supports business start-up, growth and succession, and offers management advice and a coaching arm developed from 2024: cash planning, pricing, margins and growth. It offers start-ups with concrete plans within three to six months a free half-hour meeting, whether or not they become clients, to explain among other things the three types of tax and the steps to take before starting. It also runs strategy sessions and events, such as the opening of the Roeselare office in 2025, and recruits regularly.
