dnf is an accounting and tax practice on Generaal Lemanstraat, on the second floor, in the Zuid district of Antwerp. The firm sums up its positioning in an English phrase it uses as a heading: your company, our concern. It presents itself as a partner in financial support it calls careful and reliable, two adjectives more restrained than the sector average.

The structure is that of a multi-partner firm, which is uncommon in Belgium where the profession remains dominated by one- or two-principal offices. The site publishes its partners by name with individual email addresses, and notes that a counsel partner completes the team. That transparency about people lets a client know whom they are dealing with before the first contact.

The firm has also set up specialised entities carried by dedicated partners, including one devoted to pension funds. That subject is technical and separate: managing a company pension commitment falls under its own prudential and tax rules, and few accounting practices organise it as a distinct activity rather than an occasional question.

The site is published in Dutch and English. In Antwerp, Europe's second port, that choice is not cosmetic: the city concentrates subsidiaries of foreign groups in transport, logistics and trading, whose finance managers do not work in Dutch. A firm able to produce its explanations and reports in English removes a layer of translation at every exchange with head office.

The office displays its membership of the ITAA and publishes in its footer the institute's code of conduct, its complaints procedure and its terms and conditions. That route exists independently of any court action and is free of charge. Few clients know it exists, and the fact that a firm mentions it itself rather than leaving it in the shadows says something about how it sees the professional relationship.
