COMPTA PLAN

Compta Plan is an accounting company with its registered office at number 4 avenue de la Fontaine in Mont-Saint-Guibert, Walloon Brabant. It describes itself as approved by the ITAA, the Belgian institute of tax advisers and accountants, and has been in business for more than twenty years. The firm has three offices, in Belgium and Luxembourg. It works with entrepreneurs, SMEs, self-employed people and associations, with an offer organised by client profile and a set of in-house digital tools. It says it handles more than 200 sole traders on a daily basis.

The offer comes as packages. The Starter package is aimed at young companies: full accounting and tax handling, balance sheet, returns and VAT, a dedicated expert and training in Odoo for invoicing, payments and reporting, all over three years. The SME package starts with a check-up meeting, then covers bookkeeping with monthly and quarterly follow-up, the annual accounts, tax and VAT returns, the UBO register and strategic advice. The individual package targets self-employed people and liberal professions: bookkeeping, day-to-day advice, tax strategy and the personal income tax return.

Non-profit associations have their own package. The firm keeps accounts in line with the standards for associations, prepares the annual accounts, handles the tax and VAT obligations specific to that status and manages grant monitoring, with traceability and justification of spending to the funding bodies. It also supports the board of directors in its legal and financial obligations, prepares reports for members, donors and supervisory bodies, and keeps its association clients informed of legislative changes that affect them.

Two services focus on management control. Budget Plan starts from a strategic interview to build a forecast budget, then reviews performance every month: when there is a significant deviation, the team contacts the client with concrete adjustment proposals. Compta 360 analyses the director's situation from both a business and a private angle, translates the figures into readable indicators and answers practical questions, such as access to credit or whether an investment makes sense. This service is based on an engagement letter setting out the commitments, with an unlimited number of consultations.

Tax advice is provided within Legal Plan. It covers optimising pay, dividends and directors' taxation, deducting expenses and depreciation, and applying favourable tax regimes. The team prepares and defends files during tax audits in corporate tax, VAT and personal income tax, handles disputes with the tax authorities and negotiates regularisation arrangements. Legal advice covers company law, drafting contracts and terms and conditions, GDPR compliance, keeping the eStox share register and the UBO register, and company secretarial work.

Finally, the firm supports business creation, takeover and succession: preliminary diagnosis, choice of legal form and tax regime, financial plan, preparing the valuation before a sale. It takes part every year in the Business Transfer Week organised by Wallonie Entreprendre and also handles mergers, demergers and liquidations. On the tools side, the My Compta Plan platform lets clients send their documents, track cash and deadlines, and automate bank reconciliation with CODA and SODA files. The FactureX solution manages quotes and invoices and is compatible with Peppol e-invoicing. The firm also works with Silverfin.
