Lemon Consult is a firm specialising in tax and family planning, based on Stationsstraat in Loppem, part of Zedelgem near Bruges, with a second office in Laakdal, in the Kempen region. It is recognised by the ITAA as a certified tax adviser. Its business is not bookkeeping: the firm advises entrepreneurs and private individuals on their private and business wealth, often working alongside their accountant, notary or broker, who sometimes refer files that are too complex for them.
Its approach, called the "Lemon Touch", is to look at each situation from several angles at once. The team brings together certified tax advisers, lawyers who mostly come from notarial practice and financial planners. Advice starts with an objective analysis of the client's total wealth position, followed by defining the desired situation, including the family's plans and concerns. The firm highlights its independence, integrity and discretion, and offers a free introductory meeting.
The firm was co-founded by Dieter Bossuyt, who holds a master's in business economics with a major in accounting and tax, has been recognised as a tax adviser by the ITAA since 2014, and handles company structure reorganisations, shareholder agreements and tax optimisation. He lectures on the postgraduate programme in wealth and estate planning at Vives Brugge Business School and co-wrote the book "Successieplanning in de praktijk". Kristof Delobelle, co-founder and partner, has advised families on their planning and on handing over the family business for more than twenty-five years. The team also includes Steve Bossuyt, a certified tax adviser, and several lawyers and planning experts.
On the private side, Lemon Consult deals with pensions, maintaining living standards, inheritance and reducing the duties heirs have to pay: wills, lasting powers of attorney, gifts, and partnerships used as control structures. On the business side, it helps directors structure their companies, limit the tax burden and prepare the transfer of the business, including acquisitions. A combined approach brings both together, planning what happens to the business and the family in case of incapacity or death. The website offers calculation tools and follows current developments, such as the 2026 personal income tax reform.
The firm has made a speciality of supporting parents of a child with a disability, who need to organise their child's protection and inheritance. Several published testimonials come from these families, and Kristof Delobelle speaks regularly for the associations Gezin en Handicap and Similes. Other testimonials come from directors of an organic bakery, a refrigeration specialist, an engineering firm and a printing company.
Lemon Consult also shares its knowledge: twice a year it runs the "Successieplanning in de praktijk" course for other professionals, runs the Successieclub.be website and holds public information sessions, for example on how to arrange one's estate. It handles requests from fellow accountants and insurance brokers for the most complex parts of their files.
