Kris Pyl & Partners is an accounting and tax firm accredited by the ITAA under number 50.568.322. It has two offices: on Starrenhoflaan in Kapellen, in the province of Antwerp, and on Sint-Franciscusstraat in Waasmunster, in East Flanders. Founded twenty-six years ago by Kris Pyl, its managing director, it is now run with two partners, Ann Pyl and Isabel De Block. The team numbers twelve, including accountants managing client files, assistants, reception and a staff member in charge of internal administration. The firm took part in the Officium Universalis awards in 2021 and 2023.

The firm describes itself as a team of committed accountants who believe in the power of cooperation and want to help clients in an accessible, modern way, with clear and transparent communication. It puts quality before quantity: the team stays in close contact with each client, and the firm adds that only clients who are themselves involved in their company's administration will get real value from it. It aims to become an extension of the business, responsible for its accounting and tax, rather than an office you hear from once a quarter.

Real-time bookkeeping is at the heart of the offer. Work begins with a review that brings structure to the accounts, to work faster and avoid losing money through carelessness. The file is then followed continuously online, which limits errors and lets clients check their accounts at any time. All documents are processed digitally, by scan, photo, e-mail or shared folder, and sales invoices can be created online.

The firm has developed the My Kris Pyl app, available on iOS and Android from 19 euros a month: secure invoice upload, automatic recognition, an up-to-date view of open invoices, revenue and top customers, a continuously backed-up digital archive and direct integration with Exact Online. It also relies on Codabox for bank statements, payroll documents and invoices, Silverfin for automated financial reporting, AdminPulse for administration and task tracking, and the Kyte tool for e-invoicing. It has held information evenings on Peppol for its clients.

Because the firm follows files constantly, it also spots opportunities for the business as they arise. Its advice supports growing companies through changes and new obligations by setting out every possible option, so that they make informed decisions and avoid losing money as they grow. It takes into account both tax obligations and tax opportunities, so that bookkeeping becomes a useful tool rather than a burden.

For payroll, it works with the SD Worx payroll bureau, and for business formalities with the Xerius one-stop shop. The Kapellen office is open Monday to Thursday from 8.30 to 17.00 and until 15.00 on Fridays.
