FIDUCIAIRE DES HAUTES ARDENNES

The Fiduciaire des Hautes Ardennes is an accounting office founded in Gouvy in March 2004. Its manager, Didier Petit, is a graduate of H.E.C. with a degree in commercial and financial sciences, specialising in business computing. He practises as a certified accountant and tax adviser with the ITAA. The team can assist clients in French and Dutch. The office works in Gouvy and across the region, and in Liège province if needed, for individuals and companies alike.

The office stresses an organisational point: bringing several skills together with one provider avoids extra costs and coordination problems. It works with qualified resource people, including tax lawyers, registered auditors and social insurance funds. It undertakes to respect the ITAA code of ethics, to follow accounting, tax and administrative news, and to observe the utmost discretion under professional secrecy.

The first area is accounting and management. The third area concerns the life of companies. The office supports the formation and conversion of a company, starting from the choice of legal form. It helps prepare the financial plan and budgets, drafts the minutes of general meetings and produces the reports required by the legal form. It also manages changes at the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises.

Finally, an e-counter service handles formalities with federal and regional authorities. This covers registering commercial and craft businesses with the CBE, registering and amending a company, and checking compliance with the conditions for access to the profession. The office points out that the accountant's title is protected by the law of 21 February 1985 and that its assignments are overseen by the ITAA.
