BACCA ACCOUNTANTS

BACCA Accountants is an accounting and tax firm set up as a private limited company on Geraardsbergsesteenweg in Aspelare, part of the municipality of Ninove in East Flanders. The firm is an approved member of the ITAA and belongs to the International Practice Group, a worldwide network of accountants, tax advisers, lawyers and M&A advisers. It was founded on a clear belief: a good accountant does more than keep the books, and should be a sparring partner who thinks, plans and builds alongside the entrepreneur.

The firm is run by its two partners, who remain the clients' first point of contact. Franky, founder and director, is an ITAA-certified tax accountant specialising in corporate income tax, international taxation and business advice. Branko, partner, is an ITAA trainee tax accountant. BACCA emphasises direct contact with the accountant, quick follow-up without weeks of waiting and a pragmatic approach, with values of commitment, transparency and mutual respect. The office sees clients by appointment from Monday to Friday.

The offer is organised in five areas. First, accounting, presented as the company's compass: full bookkeeping and financial reporting, plus financial, tax and accounting reviews. Then tax: analysis and optimisation of the tax structure, tax planning and forward-looking choices, and advice on succession and business transfer. Business advice covers growth and restructuring strategy, cost structure optimisation, efficient processes, internal succession, and preparing and defending financing applications with banks or private investors.

The last two areas concern capital. BACCA carries out business valuations of shares or assets using recognised methods, writes valuation reports for acquisitions, sales or successions, and can give a second opinion on an existing valuation. For acquisition support, it prepares the sale or purchase process, carries out financial and tax due diligence on the target company, assists in negotiating price, terms and warranties, advises on the financing structure and follows up integration after the deal, working with other professionals.

The firm has a particular affinity with several sectors. It supports local and family SMEs from formation to succession. It helps foreign companies set up in Belgium and Belgian businesses grow internationally, taking both tax systems into account. It knows the transport and road works sector, with its variable margins, complex VAT rules and recovery of excise duty on professional diesel. As the appointed partner of Travelnote, it works with travel agencies and tour operators, with their commission structures and seasonal cash flow.

Finally, BACCA prepares Belgian and foreign tax returns for entrepreneurs, athletes, performers and foreign executives, applying double taxation treaties. Clients have access to an online space, My Bacca, and the website publishes current articles in its Insights section.
