B Account is an accounting firm at number 26 Marktplein in Diepenbeek, near Hasselt, in Limburg. It is registered with the ITAA, with a certified tax accountant among its managers. The firm works with growing entrepreneurs: companies, sole traders and SME directors. It aims to bring together the best of both worlds, the commitment and flexibility of a family firm and the expertise and ambition of a large one. Its motto sums up the approach: it does not work for clients, but with them. It deliberately works by appointment, to give each entrepreneur enough time and attention.

The team has seven people and focuses on digital growth and client service. For start-ups, it handles the formalities, advises on the legal form, helps with the financial plan and gets the bookkeeping started. All bookkeeping runs through the My B Account portal, based on Exact Online or Billit, which lets clients create and send invoices via Peppol or email, turn a quote into an invoice in one click, receive Peppol invoices automatically, track payments and send reminders.

A mobile app lets clients create invoices quickly and upload receipts, and a dashboard gives an up-to-date overview of the business at any time. The firm sums up its approach as digital where possible, human where it matters. It works in an ecosystem where e-invoicing, bank links, reporting and advice fit together, so clients always have a clear view of their figures without surprises afterwards.
