ADFISC

Adfisc is a tax advisory and accounting firm on Kwadestraat in Roeselare, West Flanders, on the Rumbeke side. It was founded by Bart Pannier, a tax accountant certified by the ITAA, who now runs the firm with his partner Nele Indevuyst, also a certified tax accountant. Both have decades of experience and handle general and tax support and consultancy for clients. The firm describes itself as a place where people matter as much as the figures.

The team is considerably larger than that of a small office: around twenty people, most of them senior file managers. Several are themselves ITAA-certified tax accountants or tax advisers, others are ITAA trainees. Some carry cross-cutting responsibilities: VAT, IT, HR and planning. An in-house lawyer provides legal support and an office manager handles scheduling. For complex files, the firm draws on a network of outside specialists, from lawyers and notaries to employment and tax lawyers, for additional insight or a second opinion.

Adfisc works with self-employed people, SMEs and liberal professions, new or established, through tailored partnerships: ad hoc advice, support with bookkeeping or help on tax questions. Its role ranges from strategy and set-up through day-to-day file follow-up to defending the client before banks, investors or the tax authorities. Each client has a personal file manager as the point of contact for all accounting and tax questions.

The firm stresses sound tax and financial policy, a solid accounting organisation and a clear administrative structure, which it sees as the foundations of a successful business. It offers in-depth analyses and targeted support to help businesses grow, and advises on business structures that can adapt as things change. For start-ups, Adfisc drafts the articles of association, prepares the financial plan, arranges registration with a business one-stop shop and applies for the business and VAT numbers, so the entrepreneur can focus on their trade while the firm puts the basics in place. A separate offer exists for established businesses.

On tools, the firm lists the software its clients use: Exact Online, Octopus and Kluwer Vero for bookkeeping, Codabox for bank feeds and Caseware Winacc for year-end closing.
